Cannes Yachting Festival 2024
This year’s festival was quite a spectacle. It was filled with glitz and glam. All sorts of Luxury yachts were on display. Being the first significant boat show of the yachting season, it took place around September 10th to 15th, 2024, along the two main ports of Cannes – the Vieux Port and Port Canto.
History of Cannes yachting Festival
Founded in 1977, the Cannes Yachting Festival has grown into the largest in-water yachting event in Europe. Every year, this prestigious show attracts yacht enthusiasts, manufacturers, and industry professionals from across the globe. Visitors were treated to the latest in yacht design, cutting-edge technology, and luxury lifestyle offerings.
Yachting 2024 event
This year’s event showcased over 600 boats, ranging from sleek motorboats to extravagant superyachts, with many yachts making their world debuts at the festival. One of the hallmarks of the event was its dual display of new and used vessels. Vieux Port hosted the display of new luxury yachts, from impressive superyachts over 50 meters to sophisticated sailing boats. Port Canto, on the other hand, was dedicated to brokerage and charter yachts, which allowed buyers to view previously owned vessels.
